COURSE 3 - CASUALTY SIMULATION MAKE-UP WORKSHOP – LEVEL 1
ONE DAY
THIS COURSE IS HELD ON A REGULAR BASIS IN OUR ACADEMY. COST IS £95.00 PER PERSON plus VAT.
THIS COURSE MAY BE HELD IN A VENUE OF YOUR CHOICE WITH A MINIMUM OF 6 AND A MAXIMUM OF 10 PERSONS.
(If above 100 miles from Farnborough, travel costs will be extra.)
The day will include the following:-
Hygiene and Safe Use of Make-up
Skin preparation and Make-up Removal
Shock – various levels (including sweat)
Bruising – various ages
Blood – appropriate types and uses
Abrasions
Wounds – using SynWax and other Waxes (Incised, lacerated etc)
Use of Concealer Wheel
Use of Anti Shine Gel
Use of Barrier Spray and Anti-Perspirant Solution
Open fractures and splinters
Scalds and Burns – various degrees
Use of Speciality Powders
Crushed fingertip
Use of Coloured Powders
Use of Prosthetic Pieces
Application of Prosthetic Pieces
Use of Safe Props eg Silli Glass/Softie Glass/Blood Pools
Other Make-up if requested
